Mike Seccombe (Australian)
Mike Seccombe is The Saturday Paper's national affairs correspondent, covering politics, economics and the environment. He was a long-time correspondent for The Sydney Morning Herald, based in the Canberra press gallery. He has also worked for the Vineyard Gazette on Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Karen Middleton (Australian)
Karen Middleton is chief political correspondent for The Saturday Paper and author of two books, An Unwinnable War – Australia in Afghanistan and Albanese – Telling it Straight. Karen has worked in the Canberra press gallery since 1989 and served as its president for four years. An experienced television, radio and newspaper commentator, she appears regularly on ABC TV’s Insiders and Network Ten’s The Project. She is a freelance contributor to ABC radio, Monocle 24 Radio UK and Radio New Zealand.
Maddison Connaughton (Australian)
Maddison Connaughton is Editor of The Saturday Paper. She was previously features editor at VICE, and has written for publications including Vox, The Age and The Australian. She is a former finalist for the Walkley Award for Young Australian Journalist of the Year.
