Across two decades, Shaun Micallef has gone from bit player to comedic treasure, beloved as much for his absurdist antics as for his biting satire. Chris Taylor sits down with the comedian, writer and bon vivant to discuss a career that spans an early stint practising insurance law and TV shows Full Frontal, The Micallef P(r)ogram(me) and the eleven-season-strong MAD AS HELL. His newest book, Mad as Hell and Back: A Silver Jubilee of Sketches by Shaun Micallef and Gary McCaffrie, takes readers behind the scenes of the best loved sketches of his career.
