Aura Parker (Australian)
Aura Parker is a best-selling author and illustrator of children's picture books, known for joyful stories, playful humour and whimsical watercolour, pencil and pen illustrations. Aura shares her enthusiasm for drawing and reading in visual literacy presentations and illustration sessions, encouraging children to be creative and brave. She is the author of Meerkat Splash, Cocoon and Twig are out now, with Goodnight Glow Worm released in late March.
Beci Orpin (Australian)
Beci Orpin is a creative practitioner based in Melbourne, Australia. Her work occupies a space between illustration, design and craft. Beci has run her studio for over 20 years, catering to a wide range of clients, as well as exhibiting her work both locally and internationally. She has authored and illustrated four D.I.Y books and five children's titles including her 2019 release Take Heart, Take Action. Her work is described as colourful, graphic, bold, feminine and dream-like, and she has been referred to as a 'national treasure'.
Sue Whiting (Australian)
Sue Whiting has worked in publishing for two decades. As a storyteller and schools’ performer, Sue has informed, inspired and entertained thousands of kids across the country. She is also a freelance editor and writing coach, and the author of numerous books for children and young adults, including the bestselling Missing and the CBCA Notable Book, Beware the Deep Dark Forest. In 2020, Sue will release The Book of Chance in April and Good Question in May.
Kate and Jol Temple (Australian)
Kate and Jol write ridiculous books for kids. Their picture books include the international award-winning Room on Our Rock as well as Are You My Bottom, I Got This Hat and their new book, Bin Chicken. They are also the authors of the junior fiction titles Birthday Wars and Yours Troolie, Alice Toolie and the CBCA winning Captain Jimmy Cook Discovers Third Grade. Their books have been translated into 22 languages.
