Matt Stanton (Australian)
Matt Stanton is a bestselling children’s author and illustrator who has sold more than 1 million books. His middle-grade series, Funny Kid debuted as the #1 Australian kids’ book and has legions of fans all around the world. He has published 15 picture books to date, including the bestselling There is a Monster Under My Bed Who Farts, This is a Ball and Pea + Nut. He lives and works in Sydney, Australia with his wife, bestselling author Beck Stanton, and their three children.
Nicki Greenberg (Australian)
Nicki Greenberg is an award-winning author and illustrator. Her books include critically acclaimed adaptations of The Great Gatsby and Hamlet which won the CBCA Picture Book of the Year in 2011. Nicki has also written a wide variety of books for younger readers, including her most recent release Cats Do Not Like Birthdays. Nicki loves surprise twists, crafting stories in verse, and flinging ink about. In her past life she worked as a lawyer. She may or may not be a witch.
Ben Wood (Australian)
Ben Wood is the illustrator of the bestselling Real Pigeons series and has always been drawn to books with both humour and heart. He has illustrated over 28 books for children and has had notable listings for the Children Book Council of Australia, been shortlisted for the Readings Children's Book Prize and the Australian Book Industry Awards. His latest book Real Pigeons Peck Punches with Andrew McDonald, is out May 2020.
Gus Gordon (Australian)
Gus Gordon is an internationally acclaimed illustrator and author with over 80 books for children to his name. His books, including Wendy, Herman and Rosie, Somewhere Else and The Last Peach, are available in over 20 countries and have received international recognition. He has twice been nominated for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, the world's largest award for children's and young adult literature.
Matthew Martin (Australian)
Matthew Martin is a cartoonist, illustrator and writer. His drawings have been published in The Sydney Morning Herald, The Times (London), The New York Times and The New Yorker. He has illustrated about thirty books for children and for adults. He was born in Broken Hill and has lived in Adelaide, Sydney and New York and he now lives in Sydney with his family.
Matt Cosgrove (Australian)

Liz Anelli (Australian)
English born Illustrator/author Liz Anelli has over 20 children's books published with numerous short-listings and awards. As well as making picture books Liz explores her new home through creating illustrated maps. She is a Board Director of Australia Society of Authors, an Ambassador for Books in Homes and reviews picture books for CBCA. Liz’s most recent picture book is Maddie’s First Day and in 2020 she will release The Biscuit Maker and Dry to Dry.
Georgia Norton Lodge (Australian)
Georgia Norton Lodge is a Sydney based graphic designer and illustrator. When she's not creating brands she's working on her own business, Georgia Draws A House (recently featured on The Side Hustle School Podcast), where she delights people by hand drawing their homes. She's also Zoë's younger sister. Elizabella & The Haunting of Lizard Lake is their fourth book together.
Oliver Phommavanh (Australian)
Oliver Phommavanh loves to make people laugh on the page as an children's author and on the stage as a comedian. Oliver uses his experience as a primary school teacher to inspire kids to write funny stories. He has featured in Writers and Comedy festivals all across Australia and Asia. Oliver's books include Don't Follow Vee, Natural Born Loser, The Other Christy and Thai-riffic! His next book, Brain Freeze will be released later this year.
