In this half-day workshop led by mentor and acclaimed writer Kathryn Heyman (Storm and Grace), you’ll explore what makes your voice unique and learn techniques to bring your prose to life. Whether working on a fiction or non-fiction project, Kathryn’s guided writing exercises will help you unearth new ways of thinking about story and language. You’ll leave full of ideas and with a fresh approach to writing.

This year, Sydney Writers' Festival is sponsoring one place per workshop (20 spots across the week) for writers who otherwise may not have the access to participate. To be considered for a position, please complete an application form by 12 April. Selected participants will be notified by email from the week starting 15 April.
