Andrew Cranna is an author, illustrator and primary school art teacher who illustrates comics for The School Magazine. Andrew's current comic serial, Frank & Spook, is based on two monster kids trying to expel four annoying humans from their happy home. Andrew's graphic novel series, The Bloodhound Boys, was shortlisted by the Children's Book Council of Australia for the Crichton Award for New Illustrators. It was also shortlisted for the Reading Children's Book Prize and later translated into Estonian.

James O’Loghlin is the author of eight books, including four for children. His most recent children’s novel is The Twins of Tintarfell, published in 2016. Others are Daisy Malone and the Blue Glowing Stone and The Adventures of Sir Roderick the not-very- Brave, awarded best book for 8 to 10 year olds at the 2014 Speech Pathology Awards, and shortlisted for the NSW Premier's Award for Children’s Literature. James hosted The New Inventors on ABC TV and several programs on ABC Radio.
