You have mountains of ideas, but how do you pull them together into a book? In this workshop, children’s author and illustrator James Foley looks at just how much heavy-duty mental effort is involved. He took more than four years, on and off, to develop his latest graphic novel, Brobot, rejecting hundreds of character designs, multiple storyboards and lots of weird ideas along the way. James discusses where his gets his ideas and how he learnt to write for children.
On receipt of booking, we will ask you to confirm any special requirements, including access needs. While not all rooms in Science House are fully accessible, we are committed to ensuring that all participants can attend all workshops.
With thanks to NYU Sydney.
