Singer and musician Holly Throsby’s Goodwood is a gripping debut novel of secrets and small-town obsessions. After two people mysteriously vanish, a small community is torn apart by dark rumours. Described by The Sydney Morning Herald as ‘a satisfying and conscientiously constructed mystery, an affectionate but clear-eyed portrait of a time and place, and a darkly lovely coming of age story’, Goodwood is both funny and tender, angry and complex. Holly Throsby talks to Amy Spangler about her debut.
