Writer Fiona McIntosh (The Chocolate Tin) argues for the importance of being selfish if you’re a woman today. To counter the demands placed on women, both by themselves and by others, Fiona believes selfishness is a trait to be nurtured, for the sake of happiness and creativity. She draws on her experiences in the corporate world, raising a family, and turning to writing at the age of 40 (she has since written 33 books).
