Creative duo Davina Bell and Allison Colpoys make beautiful picture books that are loved by children and adults alike. Their best-sellers The Underwater Fancy-dress Parade and Under The Love Umbrella present the perfect marriage of Davina’s words and Allison’s illustrations. Drawing on their own experiences as creators and professionals within the book industry, they unpack the children’s book market and share what publishers are looking for. They also take you through the illustration process and provide practical tips on submitting your manuscript.
On receipt of booking, we will ask you to confirm any special requirements, including access needs. While not all rooms in Science House are fully accessible, we are committed to ensuring that all participants can attend all workshops.
