Join Sydney Theatre Company Artistic Director Kip Williams as he announces the winners of the Patrick White Playwrights Award and Fellowship. Following the announcement, STC artists will present a rehearsed reading of the award-winning play. The Patrick White Playwrights Award was established to support and foster the development of Australian playwrights. The Patrick White Playwrights Fellowship is an honour awarded to an established Australian playwright.

Kip Williams is Artistic Director of Sydney Theatre Company. His productions include Julius Caesar, Playing Beatie Bow, The Picture of Dorian Gray, Lord of the Flies, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, The Harp in the South: Part One and Part Two, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, Cloud Nine, Chimerica, All My Sons and Suddenly Last Summer. Kip has directed for MTC, Malthouse Theatre, Sydney Chamber Opera, Victorian Opera, and Dark Mofo. His awards include two Sydney Theatre Awards, two Green Room Awards and a Helpmann Award.
