Roy Williams is a Sydney-based author and public speaker. His first and best-known book, God, Actually, is a defence of Christianity for the educated layperson. It became a surprise best-seller in Australia on release and has since been published in Britain and North America. In addition to his books, Roy’s non-fiction book reviews have appeared regularly in The Weekend Australian since 2006. Writing is his second career. He won the Sydney University Medal in law in 1986 and spent 20 years in the legal profession before his career was cut short by a life-changing illness.
