WHO IS THIS RUSS?

Presented by Sydney Writers' Festival, Russ the Story Bus is a creative space where children can browse a library full of the latest children's books, swap a pre-loved book for a new favourite, listen to a story or hear authors and illustrators talk about their craft.

BUT WHAT'S ALL THE FUSS ABOUT RUSS?

The thing is, Russ is no ordinary bus. With his exterior covered in artwork by a leading children’s book illustrator and his interior designed by an award-winning architect firm, he’s actually pretty fancy. The other thing is, Russ has a belly full of books for children of all ages and he needs to lighten the load by giving some away.

WHERE IS RUSS GOING?

Russ is hitting the road, visiting a different primary or high school in Greater Western Sydney every weekday throughout the month of November. Friday visits include an author talk by a leading Australian children’s book writer or illustrator.  Please note: school bookings are now closed.
