precinct at Walsh Bay is approximately 10 minutes walk from Circular Quay.
Follow the harbour perimeter walkway along Hickson Road and under the Harbour
Bridge to Walsh Bay.
Sydney Writers'
Festival Shuttle Bus
From Thursday 31May to
Sunday 3 June, Sydney Writers' Festival and Sydney Buses are providing a return
shuttle bus service between QVB and Walsh Bay.
The Shuttle Bus departs QVB
approximately every 20 minutes from 9am to 5.40pm. From QVB, it travels along
George Street, picking up passengers at Wynyard, Essex Street and The Rocks.
The last bus leaves Walsh Bay for QVB at 6pm.
Cost is $1.70 flat rate on boarding. As
this is a charter service, Sydney Buses are unable to accept TravelTen,
concession cards of any type or pensioner day tickets.
Darling Harbour Rocket
The Darling Harbour Rocket has been cancelled. Alternative transport is available via the Sydney Writers' Festival Shuttle Bus. See above.

431, 432, 433 and 434 stop at QVB and proceed down George Street to The Rocks
and Millers Point. It's a quick walk down the steps at Millers Point to the SWF
precinct.
Bicycles
Bicycle racks
for 60 bicycles are available in Pottinger Park East, the elevated park above
Hickson Road on Pottinger Street. Turn into Pottinger Street at the Hickson
Road roundabout under the Pier 3 pedestrian bridge. Remember to bring your bike
lock.
Parking
The nearest parking station is Wilson
Carpark at Towns Place, Walsh Bay, located close to the corner of Hickson Road
and Towns Place. Metered parking is also available on Hickson Road.
