A masterclass for young writers aged nine to 13. Kate Forsyth will take children through the writing process, sharing her skills and inspiring them with her enthusiasm and love of words.

KATE FORSYTH (LOCAL)
KATE FORSYTH is a writer of fantasy stories for all age groups. Best known for her series The Chain of Charms, a series of six historical fantasy adventures set in the time of Oliver Cromwell, she is also the author of picture books (I Am) and novels for older readers (The Starthorn Tree). Her adult fantasy novels have often been shortlisted for the Aurealis Awards. She has been a teacher of creative writing for a number of years, having conducted workshops all around Australia and overseas, and is well known for her enthusiastic generation of ideas in her sessions with students.
