This workshop with Roland Fishman will give you essential tools and techniques to unlock your creative potential and dramatically improve the quality of your writing. It is suitable for beginners, experienced professionals and everyone in between.

The workshop is the ideal place to kick-start your writing process, whether you want to write novels, screenplays, short stories or non-fiction. Most people are amazed at how much their writing improves from the very first class. They discover that their writing is far better than they could have imagined and they have more to say than they ever thought possible.

Duration: 6 hours in 2 x 3 hour sessions over two days. The second session is on Wednesday, 20 May. Participants are expected to attend both sessions.

This workshop has a maximum capacity of 15 participants.

ROLAND FISHMAN (LOCAL)
ROLAND FISHMAN created The Writers' Studio in 1992. Since then, thousands of people have done his creative writing courses, both live at the Bronte studio and online. The courses cater for people just starting out and those who want to write novels and screenplays. He has been a professional writer since 1980, has published three books and written for The Sydney Morning Herald, Financial Review and The Good Weekend. Roland believes writing fiction nourishes and expands the spirit, and that everyone has the ability to write and tell their story if they put in the time and effort required to master the essential tools and techniques of fiction writing.
