CATHERINE COLE (LOCAL) CATHERINE COLE is professor of creative writing, RMIT University. She has published three novels, two non-fiction books, poetry, short stories and essays. She has edited the forthcoming Writing Vietnam and Fashion in Fiction. Her research explores creativity and the teaching of creative writing, particularly the ways in which memory and place have fashioned literary movements. She has extensive experience as a teacher of writing in a number of Australian universities. She has been a writing and research fellow at the University of East Anglia, UK, a resident of the Keesing Studio, Paris and an Asialink resident in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her latest book is The Poet Who Forgot.
