JOHN FLANAGAN's bestselling Ranger’s Apprentice adventure series was originally comprised of 20 short stories which John wrote to encourage his 12-year-old son, Michael, to enjoy reading. The series has come a long way since then. Now sold to 20 countries, the series has appeared on The New York Times bestseller list for over five months and is regularly shortlisted in children's book awards in Australia and overseas. John, a former television and advertising writer, has recently released his first adult crime novel, Storm Peak. He is currently writing more adult and children’s novels.
