Drop by with the family and listen to Aaron and Tohby read their stories and chat about their work while they bring some of their best-loved characters to life - and even create some news ones - live on stage. For all ages.

TOHBY RIDDLE (LOCAL)Riddle, Tohby

TOHBY RIDDLE lives in the upper Blue Mountains where he keeps an eye out for snow. He is the author of two cartoon collections and numerous critically acclaimed picture-books, including the recent Nobody Owns the Moon. Nobody Owns the Moon has recently been shortlisted for the NSW Premier's Literary Awards Patricia Wrightson Prize for Children's Literature and the CBCA Picture Book of the Year. His first novel, The Lucky Ones, was released in 2009.

AARON BLABEY (LOCAL)Blabey, Aaron

AARON BLABEY is the author and illustrator of three picture books. His first, Pearl Barley and Charlie Parsley won the 2008 CBCA Book of the Year - Early Childhood and was included on the Smithsonian Institute’s list of Notable Books of 2008 in the USA. It was also shortlisted for the CBCA Crighton Award for New Illustrators and the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards. His subsequent titles include Sunday Chutney and Stanley Paste. Sunday Chutney was recently shortlisted for the CBCA Picture Book of the Year.

Aaron has also exhibited his paintings throughout Australia and, prior to this, he misspent his youth working as an actor. He won the AFI Award for Best Actor in 1994 and was nominated again in 2000.
