Australian children’s own queen of fantasy Emily Rodda is as well known in Australia as J.K. Rowling. She has more than 50 books to her credit, including the hugely successful Deltora Quest series, which has been published in 32 countries and translated into 25 languages, and has sold 10 million copies worldwide. Emily speaks about her latest novel The Key to Rondo. An adventure story set in a fantastic world within a music box, The Key to Rondo, is the much-anticipated first book in her new series.

Emily Rodda is one of Australia’s most popular children’s authors. She is the author of the outstandingly successful Deltora Quest novels and has won the CBCA’s Book of the Year (Younger Readers) award a record five times. In 1995 she received the Dromkeen Medal for services to Australian children’s literature.

She began writing as a child and continued that passion as a publisher and editor before deciding to write children’s books full time. Emily’s latest book is The Key to Rondo.
