Sydney Writers’ Festival wine sponsors Richmond Grove invite you to an evening of fine dining and first class wines in the company of Festival guests at award-winning Ottoman Restaurant. Includes four courses and a range of wines from Richmond Grove’s Limited Release collection.

CHRISTIAN LANDER (INTERNATIONAL)Lander, Christian by Jess Lander
CHRISTIAN LANDER is the creator of the website Stuff White People Like. He is a PhD dropout who was the 2006 public speaking instructor of the year at Indiana University. He has lived in Toronto, Montreal, Copenhagen, Tucson, Indiana and now Los Angeles, where he lives with his wife, Jess, a photographer who contributed many of the photos in the book.

His participation is supported by Hardie Grant Publishing and the Canada Council for the Arts.

SIMON MARNIE (LOCAL)

SIMON MARNIE stumbled into food media after an accidental career in radio and television that has spanned more than 25 years. Simon has worked in commercial, community and government media as a journalist, producer and presenter but has also spent time as a short order cook, restaurant reviewer and as an at home parent.

Currently employed at the ABC as Weekend Presenter for 702 ABC Sydney and Local radio NSW, and with Lifestyle Televisions “Food” Channel Simon also judges for the Sydney Royal Agricultural Society’s Fine Food Awards, and for the past three years has judged “The Presidents Medal” – The RAS most prestigious prize.
