Larrikin irreverence is dear to the Australian heart. The typist who drinks Ben Canaider and The Chaser’s (need we say more) Dominic Knight talk about taking the mickey with Mark Dapin.
BEN CANAIDER (INTERSTATE) BEN CANAIDER is a well-known wine writer, or as he likes to put it, a typist who drinks. His latest book is Cuisine du Moi, which tells the story of Gavin Canardeaux, one of the world's most popular and inspirational power-chefs. His New York restaurant, Cuisine du Moi, sets standards in cuisine couture previously thought impossible. It has quickly become the destination dining venue of both the USA and Europe - and Russia. Friendly and passionate, Gavin Canardeaux is helping global-fusion food find a new and authentically traditional voice. Canardeaux is Australian-born, English-educated, French-trained, Thai-massaged and American-based. gavincanardeaux.com
