7:30pm - All The Best Live - Human

Storytelling and documentary radio program All The Best knows that the best stories are about people. We do character driven, narrative storytelling, and we’ve asked five of our favourite people to come and tell you human stories on stage. Realising somebody is human after all, or that they’re only human. Humans growing up, making decisions, saying awful things to other humans, being excellent to each other.

We’re obsessed with each of these storytellers for the things they do and the way they do them. Come down early for stories from Meanjin’s youngest ever editor, Zora Sanders, author Maxine Beneba-Clarke, web developer Dan Nolan, a story and a song from musician Caitlin Park, and a tale by writer and radio producer Belinda Lopez.

9:00pm - The Chaser’s Empty Vessel
The Chaser's Empty Vessel returns to lower the tone of Sydney Writers' Festival for another year. Join Chris Taylor and Julian Morrow for more lively, irreverent and freewheeling discussions with some of the biggest and/or longest names at the Festival, including Reza Aslan, Jeremy Scahill and Karima Bennoune.

10:30pm - Erotic Fan Fiction
Erotic Fan Fiction returns for one seedy night only with brand-new filth written by some of Australia’s most exciting authors. This event promises to conjure up a different kind of magic in an adults-only kind of way. Hosted by Eddie Sharp and featuring new stories from Annabel Crabb, Dan Ilic, AH Cayley, Astrid Lorange and Matt Kelly

Change from printed program: Story Club at 7.30pm is replaced by All The Best Live - Human
