The Poet?s Life Works: A Red Room Installation
Event 206
print Print This Page

The first in a series of four events, this installation begins a love letter to four live poets who have busted through the roof of Australian poetry's hall of fame.

Featuring a different poet each month, the project presents four installations occupying four Sydney spaces with objects and ephemera linked to the poet's life and work. Each poet will be commissioned to write a new work for the event, and a different artist will complete a portrait of the poet within the display.

The first Poet's Life Works celebrates Queensland lawyer, academic and poet MTC Cronin with the display of her ‘room’ at Heritage Pier from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 of the Festival.

Presented with the Red Room Company.
