Connor Tomas O’Brien, director of the Digital Writers’ Festival, a world-first initiative from the Emerging Writers’ Festival, leads an engaging and srsly thought-provoking masterclass on writing digital literature. How can you write successfully for online audiences, integrating exciting new technologies, without losing the quality or meaning of your work? The role of ebooks, social media, websites and more will be explored to show you how to best launch your work into this brave new world of words.

Connor Tomas O’Brien is the Director of the Digital Writers' Festival, a new initiative from the Emerging Writers' Festival in Melbourne. Connor is currently completing a Creative Writing PhD at The University of Adelaide examining the role of technology in contemporary literary fiction. He has written for Kill Your Darlings, Going Down Swinging, and Collect Magazine, and has worked on digital publishing projects for Momentum, Sleepers Publishing, Seizure, and Little Brown. connortomas.com
