Louis Nowra (Australian)
Louis Nowra is an acclaimed author, essayist, screenwriter and playwright. His plays include The Golden Age, Radiance and Cosi (made into a successful film for which he wrote the screenplay). His novels include The Misery of Beauty and Ice, shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award. His most recent non-fiction title was the controversial Bad Dreaming. He was also one of the principal writers for the landmark, multi award-winning 2008 SBS TV series, First Australians. He has written two memoirs, The Twelfth of Never and Shooting the Moon.
Delia Falconer is the author of The Service of Clouds, The Lost Thoughts of Soldiers, and Sydney. She holds a PhD in English Literature and Cultural Studies and is a Senior Lecturer in Creative Practices at UTS.
Felicity Castagna (Australian)
Felicity Castagna is the author of Small Indiscretions:Stories of Travel in Asia. Her work has appeared in The Age, Heat and The Sydney Morning Herald. She is a doctoral candidate at The University of Western Sydney. Her latest book is a young adult novel set in western Sydney, The Incredible Here and Now (Giramondo, 2013).
Antonia Pesenti is an architect and illustrator. She works across the two disciplines; co-directing an award winning design practice as well as creating illustrations for many Australian and international clients. Antonia collaborated with friend and playwright Hilary Bell to create the bestselling picture book, Alphabetical Sydney. alphabeticalsydney.tumblr.com
Hilary Bell is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), and the Julliard Playwrights' Program in New York. She was the 2003 Tennessee Williams Fellow in the USA, and the 2013 Patrick White Playwriting Fellow. She is a member of playwrights’ company 7-On. Best known for her plays, including Wolf Lullaby for Griffin Theatre and The Splinter for the Sydney Theatre Company, Bell also writes for radio, opera, musicals, television, and film.
