Irvine Welsh’s books have made him a cult figure in the writing world since the 1990s and his publication of the iconic Trainspotting. He has become known for his mixture of comedy, drama and hard-hitting issues. In his latest novel, The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins, Irvine has created two of his most memorable female protagonists, and one of the most bizarre sado-masochistic folies à deux in contemporary fiction. He shares his stories with Angus Fontaine.
