Bob Graham (Australian)
Bob Graham is one of Australia’s most acclaimed author/illustrators and picture-book makers. Over his career he has been shortlisted for, and won, many local and international awards including the Prime Minister’s Literary Award, the Kate Greenaway Medal, the Smarties Book Prize (UK), and The Boston Globe Book Award (US). Bob has also been the recipient of the CBCA Book of the Year Award, in the Early Childhood and Picture Book categories, an unprecedented three times. His latest book is A Bus Called Heaven.
Margaret Hamilton (Australian)
Margaret Hamilton has many years’ experience in children’s books — as a children’s librarian, bookseller, publisher and as a parent. In 1987 she left her position as director at Hodder & Stoughton Australia to begin Margaret Hamilton Books with her husband, Max. The company achieved considerable success and won many awards before becoming a division of Scholastic Australia in 1996. Margaret’s passion for picture books and the world of Australian illustrators has led her to open Pinerolo, the children’s book cottage in Blackheath.
