The Children’s Festival of Moving Stories was held in November 2015.

We kicked off with a giant bang on Sunday 8 November when we brought together two of the biggest names in children’s books for a one-day only, once in a lifetime show. Number one international bestselling author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Jeff Kinney joined Australian superstar Andy Griffiths live on stage for two hours of laughter, mayhem and stories. In an exclusive event, teachers and parents saw bestselling picture book author Mem Fox and award-winning illustrator Judy Horacek talked about their new book, as well as how to get kids reading.

The Festival ran throughout the month of November and featured free events for children and schools across Greater Western Sydney. As well as the return of Russ the Story Bus, we presented a Children’s Author Roadshow at local libraries, launched our My Story Project, or presented a special one-off Primary School Day program in Penrith.
